About
This is a blog about travelling the world with a backpack on your back and a smile on your face.
The main bulk of the content is current from when my girlfriend Hayley and I backpacked over 11 months from Mexico to Bolivia, then another 3 months in a landrover driving around Southern Africa camping out under the stars each night.
Unfortunately we broke up once we got back to the real world, but the memories and great times we shared along the way will be with us forever and no-one can take that away. Keep an eye on the blog though, hopefully sometime in the next year or two I’ll be sharing my Africa trip!
Cheers for now, you awesome readers.
Dyl.

Hey there, if you’re having no luck via the links off the African Queen website, try get hold of the guy who runs this hostel:
http://www.mamallena.com/
I can’t remember his name but he was super clued up about the boats and had the most up to date info we could find about them – he had most of their personal phone numbers too and should help even if you’re not staying there.
